The Go and See Fund from Up Yer Airts is now open for applications!
This fund supports young people aged 15–25 who live in Dumfries and Galloway to attend creative and cultural events that will help develop their own creative practice – or spark ideas for events they might want to bring back and put on locally.
With the Edinburgh Festival Fringe happening this August, it’s the perfect time to go and see exciting new work, explore different artforms, and be inspired by what’s possible.
We can support:
- Ticket costs
- Travel expenses, where possible
- Light-touch planning support if needed
Who can apply:
- Aged 15–25
- Living in Dumfries and Galloway
- Keen to explore the arts for creative development or to generate ideas for events in the region
How to apply:
- Send an email to hello@upyerairts.com with:
- Your name and age
- Where in Dumfries and Galloway you’re based
- What event or show you want to go and see
- Why this opportunity would help with your creative development or inspire events you’d like to see happen locally
What next:
Our team will contact you to arrange a meeting and agree your plans for attending your selected events as well as the costs incurred by your excursion.
How you to book your tickets:
We work on a reimbursement model, meaning that you will go ahead and book your tickets/travel, which we will pay back to you upon receipt of an invoice and all proof of purchase documentation (confirmation emails, screenshots of tickets etc).
