Are you a young musician or aspiring music producer with a passion for creating, performing, and taking your sound to the next level? GEEZ A CHOON is your chance to work alongside industry professionals, develop your skills, and showcase your talent in an unforgettable, career-changing experience!

What is GEEZ A CHOON?

GEEZ A CHOON is an innovative music programme designed to give young people aged 15-25 the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of professional music. From songwriting and production to recording, performance, and live gigs, this project will help you:

  • Create a fully produced song alongside experienced mentors.
  • Learn the ins and outs of the music industry, including collaboration, recording, and promotion.
  • Perform your music live at local events as part of a series of gigs.
  • Build your profile as an artist or producer and gain insight into taking your music career to the next level.

Who Can Apply?

We are looking for:

  • Young people based in Dumfries and Galloway aged 15-25 who are passionate about music.
  • Musicians, bands, songwriters, and producers at any stage of their creative journey.
  • Those eager to learn, collaborate, and push their creative boundaries.
  • Applicants willing to commit to live performances.
  • No prior professional experience is required—just bring your talent, enthusiasm, and commitment!
