Free – £30Sunday 21st June 2026 is Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year! We have an exciting weekend of midsummer celebrations planned at Crawick Multiverse and we hope you will join us for some, or all, of our programmed activities on Saturday 20th and/or Sunday 21st June 2026.
Saturday 20th June: SOLSTICE STOPOVER AND SUNSET SESSION:
SOLSTICE STOPOVER: 4pm Saturday to 4pm Sunday
Stay the night in your motorhome on Saturday 20th June and enjoy the Summer Solstice at Crawick Multiverse. For only £10 per van and the cost of a Solstice Day Pass per person, you will have access to the site from 4pm on Saturday to 4pm on Sunday and a rare* opportunity to park up on site next to Andromeda and The Milky Way! As our guest for the night you are also welcome to enjoy our Sunset Session at no additional cost (see details below). You will also wake up to experience the Solstice Sunrise and enjoy our Sunrise Celebrations including musical performances, wellbeing sessions and time to tour the site.
Motorhome spaces are limited, so please book early. Please note Solstice Day Passes must be purchased along with booking a Solstice Stopover.
*Motorhome bays are routinely available for stopovers in the car park at Crawick Multiverse from March to October for £10 per night, but this is a rare opportunity to park next to the landforms on the multiverse site (Saturday 20th June 2026). Motorhome stays are also possible in the car park as part of our usual Aires arrangement (limited to 5 spaces at £10 per night) subject to availability.
SUNSET SESSION: 6pm – Sunset
Purchase a Sunset Session ticket for only £8.50 per person* and enjoy an evening of relaxing campfire music (programmed by Up Yer Airts) in the Sun Amphitheatre at Crawick Multiverse from 6pm until sunset on Saturday 20th June 2026. If you sing or play an instrument there will be an opportunity to join in! The Sunset Session is open to the public and to those staying over in a motorhome. Programme includes: Zoe Bestel, Sunshine and The Silver Seams, The Bookshop Band and Mikey Kenney.
*Entry to the Sunset Session is included in the price of a Solstice Stopover for those staying the night on site in a motorhome.
Sunday 21st June: SUMMER SOLSTICE SUNRISE CELEBRATIONS:
Purchase a Solstice Day Pass which provides all-day access from 4am to 6pm. You are, of course, welcome to drop in and out throughout the day as you please.
ALL DAY ADVENTURES: 4am – 6pm
- 4am: Gates open to the public
- 4am – 6pm: Come and explore Crawick Multiverse at your leisure throughout the day and feel free to participate in any of the activities that are taking place if you wish.
SUNRISE CELEBRATION: 4am – 8.30am
- 4am – 6.30am: Gather to watch the sunrise on Andromeda. Enjoy the moment with early morning performances from Wendy Stewart, Colin James, Zoe Bestel and Sunshine and The Silver Seams, before taking an early morning stroll of Crawick Multiverse, with pop-up performances taking place on landforms across the site.
- 6.30am – 7am: Wander back to the Sun Amphitheatre in time for breakfast.
- 7am – 9am: Breakfast Time – bring a picnic or treat yourself to breakfast from our Solstice caterer.
Snacks and refreshments also available at The Coalface.

MORNING WELLBEING SESSIONS: 8.30am – 10.30am
- 8.30am – 10.30am: And relax. Join our outdoor wellbeing sessions on the lawn with Tai Chi and Yoga instructors; Josephine Smith and Kerry Riddell. Each session will last 25mins and you can join as many sessions as you wish on the day.
- 8.30am: Yoga
- 9am: Tai Chi
- 9.30am: Yoga
- 10am: Tai Chi
10.30am and 11am sessions will take place, subject to demand on the day.
TAKE TIME TO EXPLORE: 4am – 6pm
The site will remain open until 6pm, so bring a picnic and tour the site at your leisure, or take time to discover more about Upper Nithsdale and the South of Scotland while you are in the area. #ScotlandStartsHere
